Paradis du Fruit is an amazing culinary, and sensory, experience. It is a comfortable and friendly concept punctuated by bursts of poetry and homages to childhood. A delicate alchemy that Paradis du Fruit could be performed only by Philippe Starck. It’s true that the restaurant features Philippe Starck’s architectural design, an exceptional French culinary tradition, including healthy menu options, gourmet ice cream and aplayful, family-friendly atmosphere.
Starck’s interpretation of paradise will awaken the inner child. Allow eyes to meander from the massive stainless steel trees, to the magnificent Murano glass fruit chandeliers, to the brilliant animated screens of fruit splashing into water and recall a modern interpretation of the Garden of Eden, ripe for discovery.
After having entrusted to Philippe Starck in 2009 the decoration of its most prestigious address avenue George V, the Paradis du Fruit extends its collaboration with the famous creator. To celebrate its 30th anniversary the restaurant chain was asked to imagine a variation of its concept easy to adapt to all of its network.
A way to make flexible implementation of the brand with two levels of reading. Paradis du Fruit Roots thus emerged as a capsule of scenery in the heart of the city. A parenthesis that embodies the philosophy of simplicity and sharing at the root of its success.
In the own words of Starck “At the Paradis, with fruits, the people are not even people anymore. They are angels, geniuses, artists. Unique, they search, pick, mix, press, blend, decant, infuse, with talent, gift and vocation. Without them, fruit would be less.”
Dressed wood ceilings and walls evoke succulent fruits and the voluptuousness of the chandeliers of Aristide Najean, which translated into the language of glass, his idea of a tropical paradise.
All ingredients together in a sensual duality between the masculine nature of the structures and feminine fabrics printed flowers or the arts of the table.
Not only because of its amazing hospitality design, but also because it is a refreshing place to eat in Paris, Paradis du Fruit has to be on your list of places to visit in the City of Light. If you are looking for something different to the (delicious) french cuisine, Paradis du Fruit is a good alternative.
